Use an oxidizing flame for purple and a reducing flame for an opaque sea green. It gives a bright violet blue strike. Work in a hot neutral flame up to a light oxidizing flame. A reducing flame will affect the blue strike. Light Blue Amber is not well suited for thin blown work, but is best used for sculptural applications.
